Questions to answer before relying on a QR.

What happens to my QR codes if Eternal QR shuts down?

A Basic QR depends on the hosted EQR service. For a successfully fulfilled Eternal QR, the last anchored encrypted destination and your exported recovery key provide an off-grid recovery path. That does not guarantee the hosted eqr.link redirect or domain will remain available.

What is the difference between a static and a dynamic QR code?

Static means the destination is fixed; editability means it can change after printing. Eternal is a separate durability choice that adds anchoring and recovery after fulfilment. Editability alone does not add anchoring.

Is there a free plan?

Basic + Static has a EUR 0 reference price and does not include anchoring. Sign in to check whether your account has an available Basic grant; the public page does not promise a grant or create a QR.

How is my data protected?

Destination URLs are encrypted with AES-256 using a key unique to your account before they touch the database. A database leak alone does not expose your destinations.

How much does Eternal QR cost?

Basic + Static has a EUR 0 reference price. Add editability for EUR 2.99 once, or choose Eternal anchoring and recovery for EUR 9.99 once. Selecting both is additive: EUR 9.99 + EUR 2.99 = EUR 12.98 for one QR. These are reference prices; account availability and paid checkout are verified separately.

Is this crypto? Do I need a wallet?

No. EQR does not sell, exchange, custody or transfer cryptocurrency and does not issue tokens or NFTs. Blockchain is used solely as an immutable, encrypted storage and verification layer. When a paid offer is authorized, checkout uses a normal card flow; no crypto wallet is required.
